NEW YORK, Sept. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- i(x) investments, a multi-strategy impact investing company, today announced that Christine Harada, former Chief Sustainability Officer of the United States, has joined the firm as President. The firm also announced that it has appointed Board Member Sarah Bloom Raskin, former Deputy Secretary of the United States Treasury, to serve as Chair of the Board and that Paul Aaronson has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.
Harada brings over 20 years' experience leading government and management consulting organizations. Most recently she was a partner at Ridge-Lane LP, a strategic advisory firm and merchant bank co-founded by former Pennsylvania Governor and Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge. Previously Harada served as Chief Sustainability Officer of the United States during the Obama administration where she was responsible for promoting environmental and energy sustainability across all federal government operations.

In addition to the broad range of policy, operational and organizational functions she oversaw and directed as second-in-command at Treasury, Raskin focused on bolstering the country's critical financial infrastructure, creating conditions to foster inclusive economic growth and prosperity, and establishing consumer safeguards in the financial marketplace.
