Jama Software Appoints Ian Miller as VP of Sales

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Jama Software—a product-development solution for companies developing complex hardware, software and integrated systems—announced additions to the executive team. Chris Cook of New Relic joins the board of directors. Ian Miller, most recently President of Workday Asia Pacific, has been named the Jama VP of Worldwide Sales.

Cook served as President and Chief Operating Officer New Relic, a SaaS web application performance management provider, for four years. He has more than twenty years experience in technology, with deep expertise in execution and organizational effectiveness. 

Miller brings decades of experience in technology sales, marketing and customer success. A native of the U.K., he has a track record of success in the Portland metro area, being instrumental in successful growth and exits at both PolyServe Software (acquired by HP) and Platform Computing (acquired by IBM). Prior to Workday, Miller was CEO at FatCloud and ran sales organizations at IBM and Cray.
