James Corden To Host The 2015 Council Of Fashion Designers Of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards In Collaboration With Swarovski On June 1st At Alice Tully Hall At Lincoln Center

NEW YORK, April 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- James Corden will host the 2015 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards on Monday, June 1^st at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall.

Corden, OBE, an English actor, comedian, singer, writer, producer, and television personality is the new host of The Late Late Show on CBS. The first week of the Corden-hosted late night series opened to strong ratings and critical acclaim. Early on, the show has also made a viral impact. The Late Late Show's "Mariah Carey Carpool Karaoke" sketch has over 4 million views on YouTube, while the "Every Tom Hanks Movie in 7 Minutes" sketch from Corden's premiere episode has more than 11 million views on YouTube. Corden recently starred in Into the Woods, and, in 2012, he won a Tony Award for his role in One Man, Two Guvnors.

Corden joins the evening's nominees and honorees, including Fashion Icon recipient Pharrell Williams, as they celebrate the industry's achievements of the past year.
