The American childrenswear house made its runway debut at The Crosby Street Hotel, presenting its Fall Collection and Louise Roe Edit in a celebration of American and British style.
NEW YORK, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Janie and Jack closed out New York Fashion Week with its first-ever fashion show on Saturday, September 19, at The Crosby Street Hotel in New York City. The runway debut brought the brand's Fall Collection to life alongside The Louise Roe Edit, a 12-look curation by British fashion journalist, entrepreneur and mother Louise Roe.
Inspired by American heritage and the English countryside, children took center stage in an elevated presentation featuring tailored suiting, statement dresses, heritage plaids, cable knits and outerwear. The show reflected Janie and Jack's evolving point of view on family style, bringing together its classic American roots with British influences as the brand continues to build its presence in London.
The milestone marks a new chapter for Janie and Jack, putting fashion and style at the center while building on more than two decades of dressing families for their most memorable moments.
"Our first fashion show marks an exciting new chapter for Janie and Jack," said Alison Stiefel, Chief Marketing Officer of Janie and Jack. "We have an incredible heritage in childrenswear, and we're building on that by putting an even stronger point of view on style at the center of the brand. With our expansion into London and Louise's British perspective, this was the perfect moment to bring those two worlds together and show Janie and Jack in a new way."
At the center of the presentation was The Louise Roe Edit, featuring 12 fall looks—eight girls' and four boys'—curated by Roe. The edit pairs the romance of English country dressing with Janie and Jack's classic American style through florals, heritage plaids, gingham, cable knits, tailored pieces and timeless outerwear.
For Roe, the partnership is also deeply personal. She brought her eldest daughter home from the hospital dressed in Janie and Jack, beginning a connection with the brand that has continued as her family has grown. Her selections reflect the pieces she gravitates toward for her own family, from countryside weekends and first days of school to celebrations and styles meant to be passed down.
The fashion experience extended beyond the runway with an English garden-inspired setting and interactive experiences for families, including flower pressing, bouquet making and tote coloring. Together, the runway and family experiences brought the Janie and Jack world to life, connecting fashion with the moments families share together.
The runway debut follows a period of growth for Janie and Jack, including its expansion into the UK earlier this year with its first London store in Chelsea, new fashion partnerships and experiences designed to connect with families beyond the product. Together, these initiatives signal the brand's next chapter as a destination for family style, fashion and memorable experiences.
The Janie and Jack Fall Collection and The Louise Roe Edit are available now at JanieandJack.com and in select Janie and Jack stores.
