Mr. Williams is a patent attorney with over ten years' experience, specializing in patent prosecution, client counseling, opinion work, and licensing in the biotechnological, chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, food, medical devices, mechanical, and material sciences areas. A former Patent Examiner, he emphasizes a business-oriented approach, working closely with clients to develop robust intellectual property strategies that include patent, trademark, trade secret, licensing, joint development, and copyright protection to support client goals. Mr. Williams has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.  He earned his Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School.
