J.D. Power and Associates Recognizes Capital BlueCross for Ranking Highest in Member Satisfaction Among Pennsylvania Health Plans

HARRISBURG, Pa., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- J.D. Power and Associates Director of Healthcare Practice James Dougherty will formally recognize Capital BlueCross employees on Tuesday, June 22 for ranking highest in Member Satisfaction among health plans in the Pennsylvania Region, according to the 2010 National Health Insurance Plan Study. The event will take place at Capital BlueCross headquarters in Harrisburg from 9-9:30 a.m.

Now in its fourth year, the study measures satisfaction among members who purchased their coverage individually or through their employer from 133 health plans in 17 regions throughout the United States. The study examines seven key factors: coverage and benefits; provider choice; information and communication; claims processing; statements; customer service and approval process. The study also revealed that Capital BlueCross ranks highest in Network Satisfaction in its region.
