NEW YORK, March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US today announced that Jeannette Chu has joined the firm's U.S. Advisory Forensic Services Practice where she will focus on helping clients with export control and trade compliance matters. Leveraging over 30 years of federal government service, including 13 years as a U.S. diplomat in China and 24 years as a criminal investigator in several agencies, Ms. Chu will be expanding PwC's presence in the market and also developing new opportunities relating to export controls.

Prior to joining PwC, Ms. Chu was a Senior Policy Advisor at the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), U.S. Department of Commerce, where she worked on foreign policy issues, export control reform, commodity jurisdiction and licensing matters. Earlier in her career, Ms. Chu served as the Senior Export Control Attache at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing where she established a high-level dialogue on export control cooperation. She also was previously the first Immigration Attache and Officer-In-Charge of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service offices in Guangzhou and Beijing.
