Jennifer Chelwick Named Vice President of Retail Sales

HOUSTON, Nov. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Jennifer Chelwick has been named Vice President of Retail Sales for the Houston Chronicle Media Group.  The announcement was made by Rob Cravaritis, Executive Vice President of Sales.

Chelwick brings a vast knowledge of print and digital product sales to the organization and will focus on cross-platform solutions for the company's regional and strategic accounts across the growing Houston metro.  Her knowledge and experience in developing and customizing event-based experiential marketing programs for local companies brings an added dimension to the solutions available to Houston Chronicle Media Group advertisers.

Chelwick joins the Houston Chronicle Media Group from Gannett Government Media where she served as their Regional Vice President of Advertising.  She has led sales teams in developing and implementing strategic cross-platform sales solutions, digital products and unique customer-centric solutions at a diverse list of media leaders, including: The E.W. Scripps Company, The Denver Newspaper Agency, Valassis, and FastChannel Network.

Chelwick is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications.
