Jenny Craig Partners with Solera Health to Advance Chronic Disease Prevention Efforts Nationally
CARLSBAD, Calif., Aug. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jenny Craig, a leading weight loss program, announced today it has joined hands with Solera Health, a technology-enabled personalized preventive health network, to help people living with prediabetes reduce their risk for developing type 2 diabetes. As a result of the Jenny Craig relationship, Solera will now offer at-risk patients even greater choice when it comes to selecting a proven weight loss and lifestyle modification solution for better long-term health outcomes.
Under the terms of the partnership, Jenny Craig will join Solera's growing national health network of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-recognized digital health and community-based Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) providers. Now, Jenny Craig's one-on-one personal weekly consulting will be made available to eligible patients as an Affordable Care Act (ACA) covered benefit.
