JETSET Pilates Opens Fifth Tampa-Area Studio in Lakewood Ranch

• Pure Form Studios' newest studio marks the group's first location to serve the Sarasota-Bradenton market
• Studio is part of a 15-studio JETSET development agreement across Tampa Bay and Sarasota

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- JETSET Pilates, the fast-growing modern Reformer Pilates franchise, recently opened its first Lakewood Ranch studio, marking the brand's entry into the Sarasota-Bradenton market. The studio is the fifth Tampa-area location for Pure Form Studios, the local development group led by co-owners Lauren and Patrick Christopher.

The Lakewood Ranch studio is part of a larger development agreement with Pure Form Studios that includes 15 total JETSET studios coming to the Tampa and Sarasota markets, with St. Petersburg and other high-growth submarkets under evaluation for future openings.

Located at 8386 Market St., the 16-reformer, 2,400-square-foot studio opened in mid-October with approximately 300 founding members. Complete with a ribbon cutting, luxury brand experiences, and meet and greet opportunities with the studio's instructors, Pure Form Studios celebrated its newest JETSET Pilates alongside Lakewood Ranch community partners Bentley Sarasota, House of Etch, Caviar Social, Balloon Bar and Reform Coffee. Looking ahead, JETSET Lakewood Ranch plans to host additional member experiences, seasonal activations, charitable initiatives and collaborations with local businesses as it grows into a fitness and lifestyle destination for the area.

Pure Form Studios was founded by Lauren and Patrick Christopher, who bring complementary backgrounds to the business: Patrick's experience spans finance, real estate and technology, while Lauren's focuses on marketing, operations, brand building and customer experience. The group currently operates JETSET Pilates studios in Downtown Tampa, South Tampa, Carrollwood and Westchase, with Lakewood Ranch marking its fifth.

"Lakewood Ranch is a natural next step in the growth story we've been building across the Tampa area," said Lauren Christopher, co-owner of Pure Form Studios. "We're not just opening a fitness studio – we are bringing a social, wellness-driven community to a market that's ready for it."

The Lakewood Ranch studio is staffed by a locally-hired team led by the general manager and supported by Pure Form Studios' leadership team. The Lakewood Ranch studio is expected to create approximately 30 local positions, including general managers, studio leads, community leads and certified instructors. At full buildout, the Pure Form portfolio is projected to support approximately 450 positions across its JETSET Pilates locations, with additional leadership opportunities as well.

"Bringing JETSET Pilates to Lakewood Ranch is an exciting milestone for our brand; Lauren and Patrick have been fantastic franchise partners in leading our growth across Tampa," said Bertus Albertse, President and CEO of JETSET Pilates. "Their hands-on approach to development and passion for community will create an incredible experience for Lakewood Ranch."

JETSET's Reformer Pilates pairs an intense, music-driven 50-minute workout with a premium studio experience, and has built a loyal, community-driven membership base across a wide range of ages and fitness levels. Founded in Miami in 2010 by Tamara Galinsky, JETSET began franchising in 2022 and has since sold more than 400 territories nationwide, backed by a certification program through the JETSET training academy.

Leading up to its opening, the studio built a strong local following through community events such as "Puppies & Pilates" and partnerships with local businesses and organizations across Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and Bradenton. For more information, visit: jetsetpilates.com/fl/lakewood-ranch
