Jiangsu Jinmayangming Completes Development of Regional Medical Real-time Imaging Remote Diagnosis System

CHANGZHOU, China, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The Changzhou National Hi-Tech District announced today that Jiangsu Jinmayangming Information Technology Co., Ltd., a leading medical imaging software company in China, has recently completed the development of a regional medical real-time imaging remote diagnosis system in the Changzhou National Hi-Tech District. The project is the first of its kind to be put into operation in Jiangsu province, as well as the first to pass inspection and be approved by industry experts.

The system provides patients from rural areas with one-on-one remote and real-time diagnosis services from radiation imaging experts located in urban hospitals. The new medical voice and video conferencing system allows patients from rural areas to get real-time service from urban hospitals at home, greatly optimizing the process of outpatient services.

A woman in her seventies, surnamed Xue and a patient at Changzhou Henglin Township Hospital said: "A year ago, I had to sit on the bus for 40 minutes or spend RMB 30 (approx. US$4.40) to take a car service to Wujin People's Hospital in order to get a CT scan. But now I can get the diagnosis directly from the specialists at Wujin People's Hospital immediately after the CT scan is completed at Henglin." Mrs. Xue was more than enthusiastic in expressing her satisfaction with the changes at township hospitals over the past year.

The JIN-PACS medical imaging storage and transfer software (Jinmayangming PACS software) and the JIN-CR/DR diagnosis imaging processing software (Jinmayangming CR/DR), both developed by the company, were handled as Class III medical devices with a classification code of 6870. It is reported that Jinmayangming is the first enterprise in Jiangsu province to obtain a Class III medical device manufacturing enterprise license. The company has received several distinctions, including being named as a Jjiangsu province Software Enterprise, a Jiangsu province Hi-Tech Enterprise, a Jiangsu province Key Service Outsourcing Enterprise and Changzhou's Top Ten Software Enterprise. In addition, Jinmayangming has obtained eight computer software copyright registration certificates and two patents and has passed ISO9001, ISO13485 and ISO27001 quality management system certification and CMMI Level 3 Certification.
