JinkoSolar Hires Industry Veteran to Head Its U.S. Subsidiary

SHANGHAI, May 2, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. ("JinkoSolar" or the "Company") (NYSE: JKS), a fast-growing solar product manufacturer with low-cost operations based in China, announced today that the Company has appointed Ron Kenedi as President of JinkoSolar (U.S.) Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of JinkoSolar.

Mr. Kenedi has over 30 years of experience in the solar industry. Prior to joining JinkoSolar, he served as vice president of Sharp Solar Energy Solutions, the U.S. solar arm of Sharp Electronics Corp., for 9 years, where he spearheaded Sharp's North American solar business. From 1985 to 1999, he worked at Photocomm Inc. as head of sales and marketing and played a key role in a number of acquisitions and mergers as well as Photocomm's initial public offering. In 1999, Photocomm was acquired by Kyocera Solar Inc., where Mr. Kenedi continued to serve a sales and marketing role as well as oversee logistics and engineering operations until he joined Sharp in 2001. He has served on the board of directors for the Solar Energy Industry Association and Solar Alliance. Mr. Kenedi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
