Jive Positioned as a 'Leader' in Magic Quadrant for Externally Facing Social Software

PALO ALTO, Calif., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Jive Software announced that it was positioned as a Leader in the Gartner report "Magic Quadrant for Externally Facing Social Software, 2010" (1).

Jive has been positioned as a Leader in three Magic Quadrants, including the "Magic Quadrant for Externally Facing Social Software, 2010," the "Magic Quadrant for Social CRM, 2010" (2) and the "Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace, 2009" (3).

Gartner positions vendors in the "Leaders" quadrant based on completeness of vision and their ability to execute on that vision. According to Gartner "the small number of Leaders indicates that this market is at an early stage of development. These vendors have established themselves in the market with widely-used social software and collaboration offerings. They have recognized user needs in this market early, have significant market presence, and have succeeded in delivering attractive suites with broad capabilities in offerings that include both services and software."
