Joan K. Norton Participates in "A Salute to Strong Women" Hosted By the Boston Lobsters

SALEM, Mass., July 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Joan K. Norton today announced that she participated in "A Salute to Strong Women" hosted by the Boston Lobsters professional tennis team, along with a select group of high-achieving women, on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. The event, designed to inspire girls to pursue their dreams, included a panel discussion prior to the Boston Lobsters match against the Philadelphia Freedoms, and a half-time on-court introduction of all the event's participants.

The panel discussion and Q&A was hosted by the legendary Billie Jean King and featured other leading women from the sports, political and business worlds, including Olympic medalists Nancy Kerrigan and Angela Ruggiero, Salem's mayor Kimberley Driscoll, local tennis legend Avis Murray, Northshore magazine publisher Kelly Schetzsle, along with Ms. Norton. The discussion was open to all girls 18 and under who had a ticket to the Lobsters match that evening. The event was emceed by Sue Tabb, a well-known radio personality from Magic 106.7.
