John Calipari's Cal Cast features UConn basketball coach Geno Auriemma in advance of historic record attempt
NEW YORK, Jan. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- For this week's Cal Cast, John Calipari, University of Kentucky men's basketball head coach, talks with Geno Auriemma, head coach of the women's basketball team for the University of Connecticut.

Auriemma is on the verge of breaking his own record of consecutive wins with his UConn Huskies. On Jan. 10, Auriemma coached his team to an astonishing 90th consecutive win – tying the record set by Auriemma's team in 2010. Auriemma's Huskies face Southern Methodist University on the road this Saturday, with a chance to notch a record-breaking 91st consecutive win.
