SHEBOYGAN, Wis., March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Johnsonville Big Taste Grill™ hits the road March 31 with a new tour manager and Grillmaster at the wheel for America's number-one sausage brand, Johnsonville.

The new Johnsonville Grillmaster, Tucker May, will travel the U.S. with the world's largest touring grill – grilling, serving and eating Johnsonville brats; raising money for charity, and documenting his experience at bigtastegrill.com.

"People tell me I have the best job ever and I just agree with them," said May. "I'll be attending amazing community events over the next 8 months, raising money for charities and showing consumers nationwide how to grill and serve the most flavorful brat. Since hitting the road in 1995, the Big Taste Grill program has raised more than $3.5 million for a variety of charities nationwide in the communities that Johnsonville visited. In 2013 alone, the Johnsonville Big Taste Grill raised more than $130,000 for 60 different organizations nationwide.

The Johnsonville Big Taste Grill is not your average backyard barbecue. Weighing more than 53,000 pounds and measuring 65 feet long, this giant grill can cook more than 750 brats at a time or 2,500 brats per hour. During the 2013 season, Johnsonville served 121,325 brats during its 8-month tour.
