Joie de Vivre Selects LodgeNet as Partner for Enhancing the Guest Room Environment

LodgeNet and Joie de Vivre are partnering in an accelerated HDTV upgrade strategy that has already seen Envision installed in two of Joie de Vivre's hotels in Southern California – the Custom Hotel LAX and the Shorebreak Hotel – with a third installation scheduled for completion this month at The Saguaro in Scottsdale, AZ. Five additional Joie de Vivre properties are scheduled for upgrades to Envision by the end of this year.

Through Envision, guests at Joie de Vivre hotels will enjoy a world-class interactive HDTV experience that includes eCompendium, providing interactive access to hotel and local information which each hotel can manage through the PowerPortal™ authoring tool. An In-Room Dining app will enable guests to browse and order room service through the TV, while the Flyte Tracker provides them with real-time information about flight arrivals and departures. In properties with LG Pro:Centric™ televisions, guests will have access to an Interactive Program Guide to quickly find the programs they want. A wide range of on demand HD entertainment will also be available, including the best still-in-theaters Hollywood movies and much more.
