Leading Online Form Builder Proves Market Leadership with 33 Percent Increase in Customer Base, Reaching 3.2 Million Users

JotForm is now used in all 196 countries and has grown to 3.2 million users, a 33 percent increase in 2017 with more than 813K new users.
This record growth can be attributed to a number of significant milestones achieved in 2017. The company introduced JotForm 4.0, the first and only full-featured online form builder to be 100 percent mobile-friendly, which includes mobile and offline form building, revision history, continuous save and seamless collaboration as new features. JotForm also introduced a dedicated Mac application, released new widgets and 13 new integration options, and opened a third office in Izmir, Turkey, expanding from the company's headquarters in San Francisco and first Turkey office in Ankara.
In addition to company achievements, user behavior in acquiring paid accounts, leveraging JotForm to monetize form transactions and expanding vertical markets all contributed to revenue increases and prompted new user adoption. While JotForm's basic offering is a "freemium" service, the company increased their paid user base by 29 percent in the past year. User activity also increased, observing a 40 percent growth in active users and a 33 percent increase in form completions.
Monetization
A key benefit of the JotForm product is an extensive portfolio of 23 payment provider integrations (e.g., Square, PayPal, WePay, etc.), helping any size business monetize their form submissions quickly and securely. In 2017, JotForm earned PCI Service Provider Level I Compliance, making it the first and only online form builder to provide the highest level of security available. Payment transactions increased by 16 percent in 2017 with a 23 percent increase in payment totals from the previous year. Vertical Growth
