GLENS FALLS, N.Y., June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- JUST water, the ethically sourced 100% spring water packaged in a paper-based bottle, is solidifying its Southern California footprint by partnering with leading distributors Straub Company and Lenore & Co. in San Diego.

JUST water is disrupting the current bottled water market by responsibly sourcing, producing and packaging for improved environmental and social impact. JUST's new and improved bottle now has increased renewable resource content – from 53% to 82% – by using plant-based plastic derived from sugarcane in addition to its existing FSC-certified paper. The updated JUST water bottle creates up to 74% less greenhouse gas emissions than traditional PET plastic bottles and will be on shelves in summer 2016.

JUST's 100% spring water is from the Glens Falls watershed in Upstate New York where water is abundant. An ethical trade revenue partnership with the city of Glens Falls is revitalizing the local community by paying six times the municipal rate for access to less than 3% of its excess water. This appreciable revenue over time helps to upgrade aging water infrastructure, while the business model itself is restoring industry, providing jobs and protecting the watershed.
