Kaiser Permanente Named No. 34 on Computerworld Magazine's List of Best Places to Work in IT; No. 18 Among Large Companies

OAKLAND, Calif., July 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaiser Permanente ranked No. 34 on IDG's Computerworld magazine 2013 List of 100 Best Places to Work in IT, which recognizes organizations that successfully create and sustain dynamic IT work environments. Kaiser Permanente also ranked No. 18 in the category of Large Companies.

In a separate survey, Kaiser Permanente was named No. 3 on a list of 10 companies where young employees are happiest. The survey, commissioned by CareerBliss, is based on analysis from more than 48,000 employee-generated reviews between April 2012 and March 2013.

Young professionals, defined by CareerBliss as employees with fewer than 10 years' experience in a full-time position, were asked to evaluate 10 factors that affect workplace happiness. Those include one's relationship with the boss and co-workers, work environment, job resources, compensation, growth opportunities, company culture, company reputation, daily tasks and control over the work one does on a daily basis.
