'KAMKAM' Wins $77,593 PokerStars Super Tuesday Jackpot

The leading 45 players were set to take home at least a five figure share while one lucky player would land the $77,593 jackpot.

Mer Brit was the last woman standing from that elite group, eventually seeing her run come to an end in 39th place. The final table of nine was set at the 2,400/4,800 blind level after 'PKaiser' eliminated 'Allanon85' with top pair.

Tristan 'Cre8ive' Wade was the first to depart after moving all of his chips into the middle with A-4. 'leguito' made the call with pocket tens and the board failed to help Wade though he did earn just over $7,000 for his performance.

'engleberth.v' is well versed in winning PokerStars online events after triumphing in the last Super Tuesday Major of 2010 for a $63,606 pay day. However, he could not replicate that feat this time around after running his pocket eights into an opponent's pocket nines though he did add another $9,624 prize to his bankroll.

Joseph 'hoodini10' Udine has established himself as one of the most promising live and online tournament players in recent years and he was rewarded with another $13,634 share after his pocket sevens were bettered by 'PKaiser's pocket tens.

Alex 'AJKHoosier1' Kamberis ($17,644) and Griffin 'Flush_Entity' Benger ($22,857) were the last renowned poker players to head for the exit door as the curse of the lower pocket pair became a running theme at the final table.

The four unknown aliases remaining now had the chance to take down a life changing sum of money and 'KAMKAM' strengthened his claim for the first prize by eliminating 'RAZA14' ($33,082) with a pair of aces.

'KAMKAM' seemed destined for the title after he managed to hit a four on the flop when he had been dominated by 'leguito's A-9. The turn and river did not help 'leguito' and he had to settle for a $44,100 share in third place.

'KAMKAM' had opened up a sizable chip lead with that elimination and he closed out the victory soon after with pocket twos. 'PKaiser' ($58,145) put his tournament life on the line with A-8 but he failed to connect with the board as his deep run ended in second place. 'KAMKAM' landed the $77,593 jackpot for besting 400 runners to reign victorious.
