KanEquip JCB Opens Kansas City Facility to Support Growing Regional Demand

New Kansas City location strengthens KanEquip's ability to serve construction, agriculture and commercial customers throughout the region

KANSAS CITY, Kan., Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- KanEquip JCB has expanded its presence into the Kansas City market with a new location designed to provide JCB equipment sales, service, and support to customers throughout the region.

Located at 3550 Fairbanks Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, in the Santa Fe Industrial Area, the new facility gives KanEquip JCB a strategic location from which to serve the growing construction and commercial equipment needs of the Kansas City area and surrounding communities.

The Kansas City location will feature JCB's extensive lineup of construction equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, telehandlers, and other equipment designed for demanding jobsite applications. KanEquip JCB will also support JCB's agricultural equipment offerings, providing customers with access to equipment and support through a single dealership organization.

The expansion builds on KanEquip's longstanding relationship with JCB. What began with JCB wheel loaders and telehandlers has grown into a much broader relationship encompassing JCB's full range of construction equipment as well as its agricultural product line.

KanEquip's relationship with JCB has continued to grow as the dealership has expanded its JCB business across the region. In 2025, JCB recognized KanEquip as one of the three largest Fastrac dealers in the world.

The Kansas City expansion also adds another chapter to the history of KanEquip, a dealership organization with roots dating to 1967, when the business began as Meinhardt Farm Equipment. Jim Meinhardt established KanEquip, Inc. in 1999, and in 2019 his sons, Bryndon and Grant Meinhardt, acquired majority ownership of the company.

Today, KanEquip operates locations throughout Kansas, representing equipment brands serving agriculture, construction and commercial customers.

The new Kansas City facility provides KanEquip JCB with additional space to support equipment sales, service and parts operations while positioning the company closer to customers in one of the region's largest and most active commercial markets.
