Kauhale Healthcare Management to Oversee Kauhale Tide Portfolio in March

WESTERVILLE, Ohio, March 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Kauhale Healthcare Management ("Kauhale") has been appointed as the new manager of four senior living communities in Alabama.

On March 1, 2025, Kauhale assumed management responsibilities for a portfolio offering approximately 300 assisted living and memory care units in Alabama. The four communities will be rebranded, Kauhale Byrd Springs, Kauhale Grayson Valley, Kauhale Heritage Woods, and Kauhale Port City to lead the middle-market in senior living accommodations and care in Huntsville, Birmingham, and Mobile (2), respectively. The appointment and assumption further support a debt repurchase and revamped equity partnership led by Trinity Investors, a Southlake, Texas private equity firm, and sponsored by McFarlin Group, a Dallas, TX based fully integrated real estate investment firm.

Kauhale plans to launch a series of strategic enhancements to care, services, offerings, amenities, associate engagement, and resident outcomes. Additionally, direct capital improvements to each of the communities, which will take place over the next year, are valued at more than $5 million. The reposition will be led by Jim Palculict, Member and Chief Operating Officer Kauhale Health, the parent of Kauhale Healthcare Management. Kauhale Tide marks another step within an aggressive senior living management strategy, building on Kauhale's reputation for financial and resident care performance and will effectively double the size of the operating business.
