Acquisition marks Keeler Motor Car Company's entry into the New Jersey market
TENAFLY, N.J., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Keeler Motor Car Company and Open Road Capital announce the recent acquisition of BMW of Tenafly from Penske Automotive Group. The transaction closed second quarter, 2026.
BMW of Tenafly, located at 301 County Road in Tenafly, New Jersey, has served BMW customers throughout Bergen County and the surrounding Northern New Jersey area. The dealership will continue operating under the BMW of Tenafly name at its current location.
With the addition of BMW of Tenafly, Keeler Motor Car Company's portfolio grows to 10 dealerships across New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
New Jersey has been a natural next step for Keeler Motor Car Company. BMW of Tenafly's spot in Bergen County adds a strong luxury market that fits well alongside our New York and Connecticut stores, and it gives us a solid base to grow from in New Jersey.

The acquisition follows Keeler Motor Car Company and Open Road Capital's purchase of Lexus of Westport, Toyota of Westport and Audi Hawthorne from New Country Motor Car Group, which closed in February 2026.
