DETROIT, Mich., June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Detroit Media Partnership announced today that Patricia Kelly, a senior vice president of the company, is assuming additional responsibilities for customer service, consumer marketing and growing the audience of the company's expanding portfolio of printed and electronic products.
Kelly, 44, will continue to be responsible for the company's digital product development and client solutions operations. Her new responsibilities had previously been handled by Janet Hasson, Senior VP/Audience Development. Hasson was named today to serve as President and Publisher of Gannett Co.'s Westchester Journal News, in White Plains, New York.
"Patricia is a seasoned executive, with a successful track record in taking on new and challenging assignments, and she has experience in all these areas. Additionally, she is passionate about finding the right solutions for customers, both businesses and consumers. Kelly joined Detroit Media Partnership in 1995, and has held positions in Strategic Planning, Marketing, Circulation, Advertising, and Digital. Prior to joining Gannett's Detroit operation, she held various positions on Gannett's internal audit staff for six years, starting in 1989. Kelly earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts.
