Kevin O'Donnell Joins Adams Street Partners as Global Head of Business Development and Investor Relations

CHICAGO, Aug. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Adams Street Partners ("Adams Street") announced today that Kevin O'Donnell will join the firm on August 29 as a Partner and Global Head of Business Development and Investor Relations, as well as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.

Mr. O'Donnell joins Adams Street from BlackRock, where he was a Managing Director and a member of the management committee for the US and Canada Institutional Client Business. Mr. O'Donnell served in several senior management roles within BlackRock, including Head of Foundations and Endowment and Global Head of Hedge Fund Distribution. Most recently he held a senior leadership position with the US and Canada Pensions business. In these roles he was responsible for managing sizeable teams of marketing and client service executives who helped BlackRock's institutional clients meet their investment objectives. 

Previously, Mr. O'Donnell was the Managing Director and Head of Business Development and Consultant Relations at Barclays Global Investors ("BGI"), prior to its acquisition by BlackRock in 2010. Mr. O'Donnell commenced his career with State Street Bank and Trust in 1988, where he was based in Boston and Toronto. Mr. O'Donnell holds a degree in Finance from La Salle University.
