Market Buzz Report, a free online investment newsletter alert provider, issues recent news alert for Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S), Yahoo! Inc.(NASDAQ:YHOO), Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ), Ford Motor Company(NYSE:F), Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK).
Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) confirmed that it would not be taking part in upcoming auction of the government for the H-Block airwaves. This leaves it open for Dish Network Corp to buy spectrum.
Analysts had expected that the company would buy spectrum and the decision came a day after mobile service provider T-Mobile US also backed out for the auction which would be happening in January.

Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) was accused in a lawsuit of intercepting e-mails sent to users of its mail service and using personal information to profit from related advertisements.
The plaintiff seeks damages of $5,000 for each person whose privacy was allegedly invaded, according to a complaint filed Nov. 15 in federal court in San Jose, California. Information gleaned by scanning communications between users and non-users is used for tailoring advertisements to them, increasing Yahoo's revenue, according to the filing, which cites the company's published policies for its new e-mail service.

Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ): New FCC chairman Tom Wheeler has sent a letter to U.S. mobile trade group CTIA calling on carriers to set policies for allowing consumers to unlock their phones once their contracts are up, or else be required to via regulations. Wheeler also wants carriers to notify consumers when their phones are eligible to be unlocked, arguing "any voluntary program would be a hollow shell" in the absence of user awareness. Consumer groups have long called for phone unlocking to be legalized, and a White House petition on the matter racked up 114K signatures. Large-scale phone unlocking could increase the churn rates seen by U.S. carriers (VZ, T, S TMUS), as customers no longer have the need to buy a new phone (and, if they want a subsidy, agree to a 2-year contract) to switch carriers. But it could also lower phone subsidy expenses.
