KeyPoint Government Solutions Launches KeyPoint Cares Volunteer Program
LOVELAND, Colo., April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- KeyPoint Government Solutions, the leading provider of security-clearance background investigations and screening services to the U.S. Government, today announced the launch of KeyPoint Cares, an ongoing initiative to support the efforts of its nationwide network of employees who wish to volunteer in their communities.
"Although KeyPoint's work in the clearance sector is national in scope, with a heavy emphasis on technology, volunteering, at its essence, is a local undertaking, one where some of the greatest needs exist around simple, 'hands-on' projects like yardwork, painting, planting, and reading to kids," said KeyPoint Cares Coordinator Christi Brockway. "As a result, that's our focus: local projects and pitching in where help is needed. The common thread is KeyPoint employees being active in their home communities."
The program's kickoff event took place this month with a project for Crossroads Safehouse, a domestic violence shelter in Northern Colorado. KeyPoint employee volunteers removed debris from the shelter's grounds to help prepare them for spring planting. They will return next month to plant custom-designed displays of annual and perennial flowers.
