Keystone Power Holdings' Flexible Financing Enables Unique Organizations to Go Solar
Keystone and the JCC of Central New Jersey celebrate one-year anniversary of solar project
SCOTCH PLAINS, N.J., May 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Keystone Power Holdings, LLC (Keystone) and the JCC of Central New Jersey (JCCNJ) are celebrating the one-year anniversary of the completion of their solar energy project. Located in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, the 223.56 kW installation was developed, financed and is owned by Keystone. JCCNJ buys the power that is generated at a discount to current utility rates from Keystone. In its first year, the project has produced more than 200,000 kilowatt hours (Kwh) of energy.
"The JCCNJ is a great client for us. We've been able to work together to help them better manage their energy costs and reap the benefits of solar energy over the last 12 months," said William DePhillipo, co-founder of Keystone Power Holdings. "We continue to look to expand our portfolio of non-standard financings in the New Jersey market and elsewhere, enabling non-profits and other smaller organizations with unique financing needs to go solar."
"Keystone Power Holdings' flexible financing enabled us to undertake this project, reducing our ongoing energy costs as well as our carbon footprint," said Mike Goldstein, Executive Director of the JCC of Central New Jersey. "This project delivers us annual energy savings of more than 20%, giving us more funding to put towards contributing to our vibrant JCC community and fulfilling our mission."
Keystone has been focused on providing non-standard financing to smaller clients like non-profits and other organizations across North America. With no upfront investment from its clients, Keystone partners with its clients to develop and build first-class solar facilities with affordable and sustainable financing arrangements. In New Jersey, many of Keystone's systems are subsidized by the New Jersey Solar Renewable Energy Credit Program (SREC).
