Kim Walls Promoted to Global General Manager at Lime Crime

Walls brings over two decades of experience in global eCommerce, personal care innovation, and beauty to her new role. She was a founding family member of the internationally revered specialty spa line, Epicuren and founder and CEO of Episencial where she grew the business from concept to a multimillion dollar brand through expansion into Asia and in partnership with major category players such as Ulta and Target.

Walls is also a dedicated activist for women, health and the environment. She has spent many years serving socially-conscious boards including as the Retail Relations Committee Chair for the Environmental Working Group and acting as an investment partner at the women-focused investment group, Portfolia.

As Global GM, Walls will facilitate the Los Angeles-based brand's rapid worldwide expansion, continuing to place customer experience at the forefront of every decision. Specifically, she will continue to grow Lime Crime's team, build out its technology infrastructure and work to grow both brick-and-mortar presence, as well as the brand's global cross border eCommerce business.

Helping the brand expand its cross border eCommerce business while maintaining the socially-conscious company's ethos is something Walls is particularly proud of during her tenure as EVP.

"Creating meaningful inroads in China for instance, was a challenge. It's an expansive marketplace full of consumers who care about amazing makeup and Lime Crime's message. Unfortunately wholesale wasn't an option there because China requires animal testing," she explained. "Being Vegan and Cruelty-Free is at the heart of Lime Crime, so instead we focus on shipping directly to Chinese consumers from the USA. This allows us to hit on all the key requirements to do well in a cross-border ecosystem while staying true to our brand's core values. This is just the beginning, and I'm excited about the growth to come. "

Walls looks forward to greeting and overcoming many new challenges as she sees Lime Crime through global expansion.
