New Offerings
On display in the Chicago showroom are several new products that support designers' and organizations' sustainability efforts and demands for versatility. New products and enhancements include:
- Priority™ — With the addition of benching, worktables, and height-adjustable tables, this popular casegoods line easily creates a uniform look for the reception area, open planning, and the C-suite — nearly every environment within a facility. New benching and worktable solutions offer a stanchion to support optional overhead storage, create visual privacy, and provide acoustical tackable or slat tiles. Ninety and 120-degree corner units enable the tables to arrange similar to a panel system, allowing users more visual privacy. New height-adjustable tables include mechanical, incremental pin adjust, click, and crank handle adjustments.
Priority is Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) Indoor Advantage™ Gold and Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer's Association (BIFMA) level 3 certified.
- Villa — This versatile, free-form lounge series now includes high-back pieces, curved benches, tables and storage, power/data options, and an industry-first youth line that tethers to the full-size version. High-back pieces are available in one-, two-, and three-seat lounges without arms or with a side screen, and one- and two-seat corner units. A new 45-degree crescent bench and lounge, with optional back, provides greater opportunities to design functional and creative seating arrangements that easily maneuver around obstacles. The new Villa youth series includes benches, ottomans, tables, and one- and two-seat options with and without arms, which make it ideal for Education and Healthcare environments. A full range of upholstery and leather choices are available with the option to upholster backs, arms, seats, and screens separately, to delineate space and design preferences.
Villa is SCS Indoor Advantage Gold and BIFMA level 2 certified. Tables are certified to BIFMA level 3.
- Itsa™ — Itsa fulfills the need for a simple, functional, and stylish task chair that fits small stature, taller users, and everyone in between, while unifying an organization's aesthetic. Two base models include the choice of a rounded or square seat, height-adjustable arms, standard knee-tilt control, black mid-back mesh, and black polyurethane base with 55-millimeter casters. Other options include a seat slider, synchro-tilt control, and height and width-adjustable arms. Five seat color choices are available in as little as five days through Kimball Office's quick ship program, Kwik Office. Upholstery or leather from Kimball Office's Vision Collection surface materials program can also be specified.
- Surface Materials Program — A year after the introduction of the Vision Collection of more than 70 sustainable panel and seating fabrics, 10 new wood finishes are joining the portfolio. The selection offers high-impact options that allow wood's natural characteristics to show through. Two new premium specialty veneers, Sapele and Zebrawood composite, meet clients' demands for unique styling. The updated collection supports Kimball Office's dedication to responsible forestry practices, through the use of natural wood veneers and composites, High-Pressure Laminates, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified laminates, FSC wood options, and integration of Kimball Office's proprietary UV-finish, Pura®.
