Kimono Textile Menswear Comes Out in USA - HIROMI ASAI Men's Collection at Capsule Show New York

NEW YORK, July 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- HIROMI ASAI, New York based rising fashion brand, designed by Hiromi Asai, who made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week in February 2016, recently presented Spring/Summer 2018 menswear collection at Pitti Uomo 92 in Florence and drew much attention. This collection appears in New York next. HIROMI ASAI mainly presents the unique jackets at Capsule Show New York Men's SS18, held at Javits Center on July 17-19, 2017.

The title of this collection is "Midsummer Night's Roses." This collection includes shirts, jackets, trousers, and bespoke and fits for both casual and business settings (http://www.hiromiasainy.com).

The highlights of HIROMI ASAI menswear collection for this season are a dark blue night jacket with midsummer night's roses and a gray "picnic" jacket. The night jacket has dark blue roses on outer fabrics and black roses on liners, representing transparent roses. The 'picnic' jacket is inspired by French farmer's work wears used more than 100 years ago. The collection includes a navy-blue military jacket, blue and gray marbling pullover jackets, and sleeveless "military" blouson as well.

"Because HIROMI ASAI is based in New York, I am excited to present our collection at (capsule) Show for the first time. For this season, I add tailored elements and nuances to our collection, partly inspired by old European and American styles," said Ms. Asai. All textiles of HIROMI ASAI collection were woven and/or dyed in workshops all over Japan, using traditional handmade Kimono manufacturing techniques.
