King of Carts Custom Golf Carts Expands Retail Store Operations in South Carolina
New Factory Outlets Now Open in Mount Pleasant and Florence
FORT WAYNE, Ind., July 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- King of Carts opened two new Factory Outlets on June 19th, bringing the "Cart Life" to both Mount Pleasant, SC and Florence, SC on the same day. Each location brings a unique shopping experience to town, with dozens of custom golf carts in stock. Plus, customers can create their very own design through the King of Carts "Build Your Cart" kiosk.
2019 will mark the 10th year of operation for King of Carts, and this expansion of the retail footprint in South Carolina brings the number of retail locations to 6. The company also operates a manufacturing facility in the state, plus one more factory outlet in Indiana attached to the company headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana's 2nd largest city.
"The golf cart has found it's way off the golf course and into neighborhoods, campgrounds, lake homes and farms," said Don Osika, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Additionally, more communities continue to adopt golf cart friendly ordinances every day, further driving market demand. Home of the "Build Your Cart" program, if customers can't find the perfect cart in stock, they can work with staff to pick out the perfect color, seats, canopy, wheels and tires. The customer's unique cart arrives from the factory in just a few weeks.
In addition to Mount Pleasant and Florence, King of Cart's other South Carolina locations include Columbia, Surfside Beach, Piedmont and Ridgeland.
