Former Executives of Red Bull and Sparkling Ice Bring KonaRed Beverage Products to National Retail Chains; Reporting Increases Across All Metrics
KOLOA, Hawaii, Dec. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- KonaRed Corporation (OTCQB: KRED), manufacturers of Antioxidant Juices and nutritional supplements from the unique and exclusive Hawaiian CoffeeBerry®, coffee fruit from Kona, Hawaii, announced today that its US Master Distributor, Splash Beverage Group (SBG), reported increases in distributors, retail stores and other key metrics during 2014. KonaRed partnered with SBG, whose principals include veterans from Red Bull, Sparkling Ice and Marley Beverages, in the first quarter as an integral part of the company's strategy to execute a national roll out of KonaRed beverages throughout the U.S.
Year to date SBG has signed on 30 new distributors and introduced KonaRed products into more than 6,500 new stores, including 2,100 Walmart Stores. SBG has secured placement in 978 Kroger family of stores in the U.S. including 176 Ralphs grocery stores and secured placement in 160 The Fresh Market stores in 26 states. SBG also expanded KonaRed into the NYC metro area, the largest market in the US, as well as other top 10 markets including Chicago, Boston and San Francisco.
