Korn Ferry Global COO of Leadership & Talent Consulting Joins Knightsbridge to Drive US Expansion
Stuart Kaplan Named President of Knightsbridge USA; Latest Arrival of Top Talent to One of North America's Fastest Growing Human Capital Solutions Firms
TORONTO, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions announced today that Stuart Kaplan has joined the firm as President of Knightsbridge USA from Korn Ferry, where he was Global Chief Operating Officer of Leadership & Talent Consulting.
Kaplan will be responsible for leading the expansion of Knightsbridge USA's integrated solutions that help companies find, develop and optimize the necessary leadership mindset and capabilities.
Prior to Korn Ferry, Kaplan spent more than a decade at Accenture in a variety of management consulting roles focused on business and human capital strategy development for Fortune 500 clients. Based in Chicago, Kaplan is the most recent industry leader to join Knightsbridge. Virginia (Ginny) Clarke, a senior recruiter, joined the firm from Spencer Stuart in 2013.
"Stuart Kaplan is a tremendous addition to Knightsbridge," said David Shaw, the firm's founder and CEO. "He brings unparalleled expertise, experience and relationships, combined with a shared understanding of the critical importance of leadership accountability and human capital management for executing business strategy and driving sustainable performance improvement."
Based on his 22 years at PepsiCo and his experience as President and CEO of Pepsi Cola Canada Beverages, Shaw founded Knightsbridge in 2001 with the acquisition of KPMG's Career Consulting Practice. Nine subsequent acquisitions brought together expertise in four areas critical to delivering business results: Executive Search & Recruitment, Leadership & Talent Development, Career Management and Workforce Management.
"There's a reason Knightsbridge is recognized as one of the most innovative and fastest-growing human capital firms in North America," said Kaplan. "The firm's ideas are fresh, and its commitment to quality is unparalleled. With David Shaw's roots as a P&L leader in industry, Knightsbridge has created a unique approach and set of capabilities to help organizations and its leaders succeed. I'm excited to join the company that's delivering the solutions that CEOs, boards and management teams need now more than ever."
HR.com recently recognized Knightsbridge as a Top 3 service provider of leadership excellence in the International category based on client feedback and ratings of The Leadership Contract, a Knightsbridge leadership development program — and New York Times-best selling book — that focuses on leadership accountability.
