KromAmericas Announces Acquisition Of American Flame Monitoring

Strategic acquisition expands KromAmericas' product portfolio and strengthens its distribution and technical support capabilities across North America.

INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- KromAmericas announced today that it has acquired American Flame Monitoring (AFM), a Pearland, Texas-based distributor specializing in Honeywell Industrial Flame Monitoring products. The transaction marks the first acquisition for KromAmericas and brings together two specialized businesses with a shared focus on product availability, technical expertise, and responsive customer support within the industrial combustion market.

Since its founding in 2020, KromAmericas has focused on providing North American customers with access to Kromschröder combustion and control products, supported by local inventory and technical expertise. The company now serves OEMs, engineers, distributors, and system integrators throughout North and South America.

Founded in 2021, AFM has established a complementary distribution platform focused on Honeywell Industrial Flame Monitoring products. As a North American Master Distributor, AFM serves Honeywell authorized distributors and OEMs with product inventory, online ordering, and technical support.

KromAmericas already supports flame monitoring applications through its Kromschröder product portfolio, and the addition of AFM brings complementary Honeywell Industrial Flame Monitoring products and expertise to the organization. Together, the businesses can provide customers with broader access to critical combustion and flame monitoring technologies from a single trusted organization.
