kVA and SGS-TÜV Announce New Alliance

Now Offering Functional Safety Training with Personal Qualification Exam

ROYAL OAK, Mich., Feb. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- kVA, a U.S. based technical and management consulting group, is pleased to announce a new alliance with SGS-TÜV Saar GmbH, a globally recognized provider of standardization services for both the ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards.

Under the new agreement kVA will offer training and personal certification under SGS- TÜV's "Automotive Functional Safety Professional" (AFSP) and "Industrial Functional Safety Professional" (IFSP) programs. Both trainings are provided over the course of 3.5-days, and culminate with an optional certification exam. The first scheduled AFSP training event will be offered by kVA in Troy, MI May 1-4, 2017.
