Getting ready for the launch of 2 new locations this spring, the artisan small batch ice cream company launches 16 new flavors for spring.
CANOGA PARK, Calif., March 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- L.A. Creamery Artisan Ice Cream announces 16 fantastic flavors that will make their debut today.
"Consumers will find the taste and innovation they love from our small batch artisan ice creams. These are truly unique ice creams that are now available anywhere in the U.S. through our online store. Danielle Keene, our Corporate Pastry Chef and a Finalist of Top Chef Just Desserts, Season 1 has really outdone herself. Because we have 2 new locations opening this spring; The Americana at Brand in Glendale and Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks, we felt it was important to introduce Angelinos to our most unique ice creams yet" said Founder and Flavor Designer Stephen Bikoff."
The new Ice Cream Flavors are:
Jack Daniel's made with real Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, Roasted Banana, Honey Lavender, Honeycomb, Milk Chocolate Crunch, Spicy Chocolate, Creme Brulee, Salted Chocolate, Toasted Coconut, Chai Tea, Pistachio Rose, Almond Cherry, Saffron Vanilla , Goat Cheese and Currant, Rice Pudding and German Chocolate cake ice cream with chocolate cake pieces and coconut pecan frosting swirled in.
Starting today, Angelinos can now buy pints of L.A. Creamery ice creams at the Marketplace at Joan's on Third, a gourmet marketplace offers cafe-style seating and an abundant selection of foods to enjoy with us or take home. Joan's on Third is a culinary emporium offering an extensive selection of cheeses, olives, freshly baked pastries and hand selected gourmet retail items from around the world. The bustling cafe has become a haven for people seeking Joan's signature sandwiches, salads, soups and seasonally inspired foods. Joan's on Third is located at 8350 West Third Street (between La Cienega Blvd. and Fairfax Ave.) in Los Angeles, a few blocks east of the Beverly Center and west of The Grove / The Farmer's Market. Parking is available in the back.
L.A. Creamery is a brand-new style of ice cream parlor which opened in November 2010 at the Westfield Topanga located in Canoga Park. With 24 rotating flavors, guests can enjoy a mix of redefined favorites, out-of-the-box, and a full bar of "adults only" options such as Jack Daniel's Ice Cream, all made from scratch on site.
In addition to an unconventional menu, the ice cream boutique sets a modern tone with its sleek design and a focus on sustainable, high-quality ingredients—L.A. Creamery is the only ice cream shop in Los Angeles to source organic dairy from Straus Family Creamery.
L.A. Creamery's look deviates from the pastel color scheme and retro decor of many ice cream shops, boasting a modern atmosphere and elegant design. Kelly Architects—the team responsible for designing such L.A. hot spots as Pizzeria and Osteria Mozza,—used a combination of sleek and textured materials to represent the diverse Los Angeles population from young Hollywood trendsetters to easygoing beach-goers.
L.A. Creamery is located on the first level of the Westfield Topanga adjacent to Nordstrom and is open Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. For additional information, please call 818-340-CONE or visit L.A. Creamery online at www.lacreamery.com or on Facebook or Twitter.
