NUREMBERG, Alemania, 22 de junio de 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- A nivel internacional, el 42% de la población conectada en línea acuerda firmemente1 con el enunciado: "Para mí, es importante estar siempre disponible, dondequiera que esté", y solo el 11% disiente firmemente1. Sin embargo, cuatro países –Alemania, Suecia, Canadá y los Países Bajos– van en contra de esa tendencia, y en ellos es mayor el porcentaje de consumidores conectados que están firmemente en contra que el porcentaje de los que están a favor.

Según una encuesta de GfK realizada en 22 países, Rusia y China tienen los niveles más altos de personas en línea que coinciden firmemente en que para ellos es importante estar siempre disponibles, dondequiera se encuentren, con un porcentaje de 56% cada uno. Les sigue Turquía, con el 53%. Esos son los únicos países encuestados en los que más de la mitad de los consumidores conectados acuerda firmemente con esa idea. México está cerca, con el 50%, pero luego hay una caída hasta el siguiente país, Polonia, con el 41%.

Contra esa tendencia internacional van Alemania, Suecia, Canadá y los Países Bajos. Estos países son los únicos de la encuesta en los que es mayor la cantidad de gente que disiente firmemente que la que está de acuerdo con la idea de que es importante estar siempre disponible.

En Alemania, poco más de un tercio (34%) disiente firmemente con esa idea, en comparación con el 16% que acuerda firmemente. Le sigue Suecia, con el 28% frente al 22%; Canadá, con el 24% frente al 23%; y los Países Bajos, con el 23% frente al 22%.

Casi la mitad de las personas que tienen entre 30 y 39 años de edad afirma que es importante estar "siempre disponible"

Entre los diferentes grupos de edad, las personas que tienen entre 30 y 40 años muestran una mayor inclinación a querer estar siempre disponibles: casi la mitad (47%) acuerda firmemente en que es importante. Les siguen de cerca los que tienen entre 20 y 30 años (con el 45%), y los adolescentes de 15 a 19 años (con el 43%). Los que tienen entre 40 y 50 años están muy cerca, con el 42%. No obstante, para las personas de 50 años o más, la percepción de que es necesario estar siempre disponible cae de manera significativa: solo acuerda con ella un tercio (33%) de los que tienen entre 50 y 60 años, y apenas el 29% de los que tienen 60 años o más.

La demanda de estar "siempre disponible" es levemente más alta entre las mujeres

Si se observa la diferencia entre géneros, entre las mujeres la probabilidad de considerar que estar siempre disponible es importante es levemente mayor que entre los hombres: 43% de las mujeres frente al 40% de los hombres. Con respecto a aquellos que disienten firmemente en que sea importante, la diferencia es aún más estrecha: el 10% de las mujeres y el 11% de los hombres.
