La Proue Makes Its Hollywood Debut at the 78th Emmy® Awards Official Giving Suite™
Female-Founded Luxury Fragrance House Will Be Backstage to Introduce Its New Coastal Fragrances to Television's Biggest Stars
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- This September, some of television's biggest stars will be among the first to experience La Proue, the female-founded luxury fragrance house celebrating clean, coastal femininity and the power of women who chart their own course.
La Proue will make its official Hollywood debut on Television's Biggest Night, where its newly launched Eau de Parfums, Phare 143 and Voilune, will be featured backstage in the official Emmys® Giving Suite™, produced by Distinctive Assets in support of the Television Academy Foundation.
The exclusive backstage experience welcomes the evening's presenters, performers and nominees, where invited guests include Jamie Lee Curtis, Lisa Kudrow, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jean Smart, Zendaya, Quinta Brunson, Keri Russell, Claire Danes, Carey Mulligan, Dakota Fanning and host Mariska Hargitay. Giving Suite attendees will be the first to experience La Proue fragrance.
For La Proue founder Leighanne Neville, there could hardly be a more fitting place to introduce a fragrance house created around the idea of women stepping forward, taking the helm and defining success on their own terms.
"I created La Proue as a reminder to stand in your own strength — feminine, grounded and confident," says Neville. "To introduce these fragrances backstage at the Emmys, surrounded by extraordinary artists and storytellers who have forged their own paths, feels incredibly meaningful. At its heart, La Proue is about every woman knowing she is at the helm of her own story."
French for "the bow of the ship," La Proue was inspired by Neville's lifelong connection to the sea. Raised on the coast of Massachusetts as the only girl among six brothers, Neville learned to navigate and drive a boat before she could drive a car. Her father taught her that she deserved to be at the helm just as much as her brothers — a belief that would ultimately shape both her career and the La Proue brand.
Inspired by the salt-washed harbors of New England and the sunlit coast of California, La Proue's debut fragrances capture two distinct expressions of modern coastal femininity. Phare 143, French for "lighthouse," is a luminous floral inspired by the meeting of salt air and first light, while Voilune evokes the quiet magnetism of coastal dusk. Both Eau de Parfums are crafted with clean ingredients, hand-poured in California and Leaping Bunny certified.
La Proue's mission extends beyond fragrance. After more than three decades working in finance and venture-backed companies, Neville saw firsthand the barriers women entrepreneurs face in accessing capital and opportunity. She created La Proue around a larger purpose: helping women put their best selves forward while investing in the next generation of women at the helm.
Through the Women at the Helm Fund, a portion of every La Proue purchase supports initiatives that uplift, mentor and fund women entrepreneurs.
The 78th Emmy Awards, hosted by Mariska Hargitay, will air live Monday, September 14 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC and stream on Peacock from the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.
Phare 143 Eau de Parfum and Voilune Eau de Parfum retail for $115 each and are available at LaProue.com.
