Laird + Partners Appoints Digital Media Executive Patrick Yee as New CEO

Patrick Yee was an early partner at Refinery29, serving as its Executive Vice President of Marketing and Strategy, and he is credited with developing the company's extraordinary growth and playing a key role in defining the brand and its content strategy. He spent eight years there, in a role that was pivotal in growing the company from under 10 employees to a nine-figure global business with over 450 employees around the world. During Yee's tenure, Refinery29's monthly reach expanded from under 100,000 to over 150 million and achieved industry-leading engagement, becoming the No. 1 digital media brand in fashion, beauty and style in the U.S.
