Lampin Chooses Longtime Employee Robin LeClaire as New Company President
UXBRIDGE, Mass., Feb. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Robin LeClaire has taken her place as the new president of Lampin Corporation. A Lampin veteran of over thirty-one years, LeClaire succeeds former president, Bill DiBenedetto, who retired in April 2017. LeClaire was one of the first full-time employees at Lampin. Her experience with nearly every level of Lampin operations—from accounting, to shipping and receiving, to operating machines—makes her an ideal candidate for the position.
"My goal as president is to get all of our employee owners engaged in the company. I want Lampin to be a place they want to work at and be able to retire from," says LeClaire. "I plan on continuing our involvement with the community and neighboring schools so that we can continue to spread the message that manufacturing is no longer a dirty job and that there are plentiful opportunities for long-lasting, stable careers in this industry."
Lampin is an employee-owned company producing precision component parts for a variety of industries. It has been very active in addressing the skills gap, which threatens many manufacturers as older employees retire and fewer new faces receive the necessary training to replace them.

With help from the Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership and Quinsigamond Community College, Lampin can send new employees for in-depth education in manufacturing and CNC programming.
