Lands' End Announces Real Adventure Winter Getaway

Real Adventure Winter Getaways

Ski Alberta:

Imagine spending five days in the famous Banff-Lake Louise area of Alberta.  The first two days of the trip will include accommodations at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel also known as the "Castle in the Rockies."  Few hotels in the world rival the majesty, hospitality and grandeur of this resort.  This amazing Alberta adventure also includes ski school lessons and lift tickets for four to some of Canada's best skiing in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta.  The trip to the next resort follows the Icefields Parkway, considered one of the world's most spectacular mountain highways showcasing breathtaking scenery.  The second, more relaxing leg of this trip will include two nights at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in the heart of pristine, picturesque Banff National Park.

The winner of this trip and their lucky travel companions will spend five days in Montreal and Quebec City.  During the stay in Montreal, travel winners will have three days to explore Canada's second largest city known for its centuries-old French heritage.  Here travelers can tour a park in a caleche or even rumba in the Latin-quarter.  In order to take in everything the city has to offer, winners will also receive a Montreal Museum Pass, which grants access to 34 museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts which is Montreal's oldest art institution and largest museum.  From Montreal, travelers will ride Canada's Via Rail train to Quebec City for two more days of excitement.  In Quebec City, where there's a definite European sensibility, winners can choose either a guided tour of the city down cobblestone streets visiting shops selling pastries and artisanal cheese or an excursion cruise on the St. Lawrence River.

Explore the Yukon:

The Yukon is described by its locals as "larger than life," and travel winners who head to this Canadian territory will experience a once-in-a-lifetime winter getaway.  For six days, the contest winner and three guests will experience a variety of guided activities (depending on the month selected).  Whether it's dogsledding the Yukon wilderness or hiking the memorable black granite peaks of Tombstone Territorial Park, this Yukon adventure is sure to be unforgettable.
