Lands' End Appoints Proven Leaders to Head Financial Operations and Strategic Brand Direction

DODGEVILLE, Wis., Oct. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lands' End today announced the promotion of Tim Martin to Chief Operating Officer/Chief Finance Officer, and Chris Kolbe to Brand President.

As the leader of operations and finance for Lands' End, Mr. Martin will oversee all aspects of financial planning and inventory management for the brand's global business. Martin is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, legal, information technology, strategic planning and forecasting, treasury and cash management, payroll, and global planning and inventory across all divisions in the United States, Northern and Central Europe, and Japan. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.

As Brand President for Lands' End, Mr. Kolbe will drive strategy and decision making for all of merchandising, design, brand marketing, public relations and creative services. This broadened scope will leverage Kolbe's vision for the brand, ensuring continuity from concept of product design through the creative presentation to the customer. Kolbe is also tasked with ensuring the company's commitment to quality, value and service across all retail, direct and international channels. He most recently served as Chief Merchandising and Design Officer for Lands' End.

Mr. Martin and Mr. Kolbe are members of the company's senior leadership team and report to Edgar Huber, the CEO and president of Lands' End. Both are based at Lands' End's headquarters in Dodgeville, Wis.
