Largest East Coast Advanced Design & Manufacturing Event Returns to New York this June

SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Canon's long-running East Coast advanced design and manufacturing event today announced its return to the Javits Center in New York. The event attracts professionals from a broad range of industries, with segments for packaging (EastPack), industrial design and manufacturing (Atlantic Design & Manufacturing), plastics (PLASTEC East), automation and robotics (ATX East), quality assurance and management (Quality Expo East), medical device design and manufacturing (MD&M East), health and beauty products and brand development (HBA Global). This multi-industry event takes place June 9-11, 2015, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. In addition, attendees will also have access to the pharmaceuticals packaging show (Pharmapack North America) held at the Javits' River Pavilion June 9-10.

Diverse Educational Opportunities

The Center Stage
Located in the exhibition hall, the Center Stage will offer keynotes and panel discussions on hot topics, such as "How to Avoid Common Design Mistakes When Prototyping," and  exciting sessions, such as an engineering trivia game and a visit from a 3D printed drone, and the Materials Girl, dressed in all 3D printed materials. 

Speed Networking Sessions
Speed Networking sessions will take place on June 9 and June 10  at the Center Stage. In addition, Innovation Tours, guided tours of various booths on a specific topic such as 3D printing or robotics, will depart from the Center Stage area.
