Law Firm of Silver & Freedman Marks 35-Year Milestone While Naming New Managing Partner

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Silver & Freedman, a well-established and highly-respected business law firm in Los Angeles, celebrates its 35-year anniversary this month, along with naming shareholder Barry M. Weisz as managing partner and adding two new partners, according to Weisz.

Offering clients a variety of legal services in a broad cross section of practice areas, Silver & Freedman elevated Samantha F. Spector and Daniel J. Katz to partner.

Weisz, who served as the Chair of the Business and Tax Department when he first arrived in 1999 until last year, currently handles cases related to business and corporate matters. Spector will continue to handle family law matters and Katz will serve clients in need of real estate guidance.

In his new post, Weisz will oversee 28 attorneys and a staff of about the same size. Weisz, 56, is the son of the late Judge Andrew J. Weisz of Beverly Hills.
