Leading Healthcare Defense Lawyer Torrey Young Joins Mukasey Frenchman & Sklaroff as Partner in New York

NEW YORK, March 2, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Marking its one-year anniversary, New York trial boutique Mukasey Frenchman & Sklaroff LLP announced that experienced healthcare defense counsel Torrey K. Young has joined the firm as a partner in New York.  She was previously a member of the Health Care and Government Enforcement Defense & Investigation Practices at Foley & Lardner in Boston.

Ms. Young is renowned for her work defending clients in all manners of government enforcement actions, including criminal and civil health care fraud cases, False Claims Act cases, and allegations of research misconduct and grant fraud.  In matters involving U.S. Attorney's Offices, the Office of Inspector General, the National Institutes of Health, she utilizes a unique understanding of statistics, complex data analysis, and billing processes.  She frequently conducts internal investigations, implements compliance programs, and counsels clients on clinical research and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement issues. Her clients include physician owners, health systems, post-acute and urgent care providers, diagnostic laboratories, telehealth companies, PBMs, life science companies, and DMEPOS companies. 

Mukasey Frenchman & Sklaroff was founded by Marc L. Mukasey in March 2019.
