This is the highest honor that any supplier to General Motors can win, and Lear was chosen from the 20,000 suppliers that serve GM globally. Lear also was recognized as a 2011 General Motors Supplier of the Year for Seat Assemblies. This marks the eighth consecutive year, the eleventh year out of the last twelve, and the fourteenth time that Lear has been named a General Motors Supplier of the Year. These awards were presented to Lear during a ceremony held March 13th at the Detroit Institute of Arts in Detroit, Michigan.
