LearningMate Expands Editorial Services Group

LearningMate Solutions Inc., a global supplier of content and technology services for the education industry, has hired Rachel Falk as Delivery Head for the company's Editorial Services Group.

With more than 15 years of experience in new product development, market research and customer relationship management, Falk brings a deep knowledge of digital publishing and people management skills to the company.

LearningMate added editorial services to its portfolio-which includes content, technology and enterprise solutions-in January of 2012. Prior to that, the company earned a solid reputation among publishers for its content production services, which include the development of media elements for ancillary materials and online courses as well as the authoring of assessment items.

As Delivery Head, Falk will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Editorial Services Group and management of its resources including writing supervisors, editors, instructional designers and project managers as well as an extended network of more than 400 Subject Matter Experts and a psychometrician. Falk will also lead all US publishing operations.

Falk's background is deeply rooted in educational publishing including tenures at John Wiley and Sons; Bedford, Freeman and Worth Publishing (now known as Macmillan) and Pearson Education.

Falk has a Master of Business Administration from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
