LED CHINA 2014 Sees Record Numbers in Both Exhibitors and Visitors

GUANGZHOU, China, March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- LED CHINA 2014, a four-day event organized by UBM Trust, a joint venture with UBM Asia Ltd, concluded on February 26 in Guangzhou with a record number of 88,502 visitors that came from over 166 countries and regions and 1,083 exhibitors covering the entire LED industry chain with showcases of the latest technology and products. Celebrating its 10th edition, LED CHINA 2014 is held across over 80,000sqm of exhibition space at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Area B, Pazhou in Guangzhou.

As an international sourcing platform, LED CHINA is increasingly popular with overseas visitors attracting a total of 12,773 numbers of international buyers and professionals from overseas which is an impressive 38% growth from the previous edition. This proves that the event is getting popular among the international markets and is fast becoming an important event in the international LED industry calendar. These international visitors came from countries and regions, which include USA, Canada, Japan, Germany, UK, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, Korea and Australia.

Both first-time visitors and regular visitors were impressed by what they found at the trade show.  "I have been visiting LED CHINA so many times and I'm always pleasantly surprised when I visit. During LED CHINA 2014, buyers and visitors were impressed when they found the entire LED industry chain well-represented by world leading manufacturers from South Korea, USA, Russia, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China. Others include the MacAdam 4 Step-Controlled Binning, the high-efficiency bulbs from NATIONSTAR, the new automatic EMC LED sorting and taping machine launched by ZVISION, LED MR13/GU10 lamp from Mason and the 346 Asymmetric Lamp Device showcased by LEDMAN.
